Participate in an Event
From ten-person events, to those featuring over 3,000 students and community members, the Student Success Centre wants to keep you engaged.
As established alumni have highly valuable life and career experience that you can share with small groups of current students at your alma mater through Career Conversations, Networking Breakfasts, by coordinating Mock Interviews or sitting on a Career Panel. When it comes to attracting new employees, whether you are an entrepreneur looking for top talent or a representative for a medium or large-scale business, our On-Campus Recruitment Program, Hamilton Employment Crawl, Career Fairs, and Connect to Careers signature events provide opportunities for you to enhance your company image and fill staffing needs.
"The Networking Breakfast Event allowed us the opportunity to get to know students who had a genuine interest in our company, who were also well-prepared with questions. Many of the students we met at the breakfast visited our booth to continue the conversations, as well as followed up and are in interviews with our company now!"

Please connect with firstname.lastname@example.org to learn more about mentoring opportunities as they relate to your experiences at McMaster University and subsequent profession.
"Good mentorship gives you clarity in a career field and also teaches you humility, an important soft skill to have in your career toolkit. Engaging in mentor-mentee relationships helps you gain a broader picture of your life after graduation. You will soon recognize that the world is indeed your oyster – it is what you make it to be. "
— Alyssa Lai, Hamilton Woman of Distinction 2014, McMaster alumna
